Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

can't reinstall o.s when using the product recovery cdrom and user manual instructions.
I get as far as c drive partition screen but can delete the partition becoz" it contains temporary files required to complete installation".
Only other option is installing 2 O.S's on the same partition.

note: I was badly infected with win32/sality virus and am reinstalling becoz of this.

    Helf/advice required and appreciated.

Pretty strange. Try booting from a DOS diskette with Ranish (a free partition manager from ranish.com) and deleting it.

I've had a lot of problems using the recovery package provided by Acer for my laptop. When new the the HDD had a second partition but since reinstalling the 2nd partition disapeared. I'm now having to replace HDD and have written to Acer, (awaiting reply) as to how complete the recovery discs are. Also in my case origonal HDD was 20 GB and only replacements available are 40Gb so it possible that I will end up with 20GB usable. This does'nt help alot I know but just sharing you plight.
