This is a follow up to a query I posted last week about drying time for concrete floors which we are tiling.

We have UFH but the geothermal pump has been delayed and it will not be ready to be swiched on for a month. We are now hoping to tile before the heating is switched on. However, we have been warned that even if the concrete has adequately dried before tiling there is a chance that the concrete will shrink significantly once the UFH is switched on for the first time. This could result in cracking of the tiles and grout we have been told. Obviously something we would like to avoid.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.
