Does anyone know how to unlock itunes mp3s mp4s [whatever they are] so you can share your mp3s without having to give someone your password?

You're not meant to share your mp3s with others. That's why they're protected.

You have to type your password in on iTunes music store to allow access.

Burn to CD (or virtual CD) as CD-Audio and re-encode them to mp3.

It's a good idea to do this with all DRM files as a backup in case you need to re-install your OS.

Many people have been left with folder full of locked music because their PC had to be replaced or re-installed from scratch.
