    Can anyone recommend me a good SQL beginner/intermediate book for MS SQL Server 2000.

    Generally used to creating tables and reports from the database into another medium; Impromtu/COGNOS.

    What i need is guide for updating existing tables and general DTS package creation.
    I dont like asking people to do my job, so wont bore you with the actual problems I have (e.g, one of the lads here deleted the transaction log without making a backup last week!)
