Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    While we try to figure out yet another slowdown, I've "moderated" any threads with > 2000 posts. ...., don't worry, it's still there, just not visible to the world at large.

    Theres a thread about it in Feedback, those threads will be brought back as soon as the powers figure out if they are the cause of the speed problems. :)

    grand job, didnt use it anyway!!!
    True about the slow downs, constantly getting connection time outs when running opera mini on my phone,especially during the day for some strange reason, you would think it be worse at night?
    anybody else have the same problem with opera mini??

    Well instead of sticky, why not just setup an new unlocking forum ?

    No need for a forum just for unlocking, the sticky for unlocking is fine. It will return when the admins sort out the speed issues. Feel free to suggest it in the Forums forum, though I don't think you'll get very far, I think it was suggested before.

    i think he meant to say thread. i think whats making it slow down is the picture association thread in the cukoo's nest.

    A suggestion *makes note to tell the admins*
    On another site I frequent, TrekUnited, they have a policy of closing any thread that has >=1000 posts and starting a new one to continue the discussion. They say this is for database reasons, perhaps threads here with a similarlly large number of posts can be locked, with a fresh thread put in its place.
