Like most people I have a collection of movies on VHS that I want to get rid of. What has everyone else done with theirs ? Are they worth anything ?

Unfortunately no , and are never likely to be ,

The problem is that the technology is far to abrasive on the tapes themselves , and they wear out very quickly.

VHS tapes are only good for about 200 passes across even the best video heads before the tape wears out.
Even Vinyl records was a better technology , at least they have some lasting power , VHS tapes on the other hand , were at best only a temporary thing.
