    Hi folks,yes it's lining up to be a nice weekend of electronica.

    This week at the Radio City Bar we will be showcasing sublime electronica courtesy of Ciaran Byrne.Ciaran will be performing an hour of music taken from his forthcoming debut cd 'Galtrim'Be sure not to miss this one!

    Ciaran Byrne Biog:

    Ciaran Byrne is an Irish producer who started off as many aspiring bleep warriors do, constructing scruffy appregiated synth runs over drum parts that are so heavily crowded that the sequencer starts to smoke. But since then a lot has changed. After sending a two track demo to Psychonavigation records in 2004, Dublins small, but conscientious underground sat up and took notice. Influenced heavily by artists such as Arovane and Tape loop chieftans Boards Of Canada, Ciaran blends absorbing, celestial melodies with unyielding drum patterns and basslines to induce an effect that is best described as triumphant. Ciaran Byrnes debut album will be released October 2006 on Psychonavigation records.
