Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tevez and Mascherano sign Permenant contracts, NOT LOAN DEALS! This is unreal! They're actually now property of West Ham!

    http://www.whufc.com/articles/article.php?page_id=8247

Still sounds kinda dodgy though, no mention of price or length of contract and no word from the players..this is absolutely crazy! Where the bejesus did the Hammers get that kind of money?!?!

    Crazy stuff

“The transfers represent a massive coup for the Hammers, who have beaten off some of Europe’s biggest clubs to secure the services of the duo.”

    WTF!!!!

As a Hammers fan , I am over the moon with this! Loan deals would have been good but permanent signings! WOW!!!

Media Sports Investments ...isn't a certain chelsea chairman involved with them? This stinks of Chelsea to be honest.

Good deal for West ham. I still only expect them to be at the club for a year and to leave for chelsea in the summer. I am sure they will have a minimum fee release clause.

26 goals in 35 league games for Monaco in 02/03. He's been pretty much injured constantly since then. 5 goals in 7 starts the following season. 4 starts the season after that. Joined Roma and started 9 games, scoring 6.

Seen some conflicting reports about Ronaldo. Lots of them saying he's staying in Madrid.

Or maybe hes signing for West Ham ;)

It must be getting close to the end now. I know the deadline is 12. But will teams risk signing a player without a medical?

AFAIR you can sign someone subject to a medical.

How good can a quick 3 hours medical be? "Cough now!"

From the BBC: Wigan have signed Bristol City forward David Cotterill for £2m.

Splashing the cash on an 18 yr forward - good business or desperation?

And Sorin moved to Hamburg for 3mil Euro - nice bit of business.

In an even bigger shocker than the Tevez and Mascherano transfers, The Bald One, he of shiny head, 32 years of age and expiring contract, has gone to Villarreal for £2m.

    Beautiful.

That is some bit of business.

BBC are claiming they replaced him with Gallas for Cole + 5million.

And Roy Keane continues his nepotism by adding Liam Miller to his list of former teammate signings.

And Keane adds another former team mate to his squad.

Connolly goes from Wigan to Sunderland.

I reckon we should organise a trip over to see Ireland Fc after christmas. Keane (or quinn, whoever is making the signings) is the Irish Houllier.

"alright mate, you irish"?. "I am sure I am", "grand so, heres a contract and a sunderland shirt, trainings at 9am monday"

McAteer is still playing with Tranmere............................
