Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, you could maybe slot Roy in beside Kenny there.

    So, just a goalie needed!

There's a rumour that says because he's in the last year of his contract and over a certain age he can buy himself out of his contract and become a free agent. we'll just have to wait and see

So, Rafa didn't bring anyone in to compete with Finnan at RB. Bah!...can't expect Steve to play 60 games there straight. Maybe one of the u18s will get a look-in there now.

I remember seeing Antwi, i think, play there in pre-season and he looked decent (although normally he playes centre).

EDIT: BBC says Chimbonda moved to Spurs - anyone have an idea how much that was for?

yeah i read that there myself earliar, its said to be a bit of a complicated process though : /

i know carra can play oout right if needed but i'd be pretty miffed to see kronkamp go withough any natural cover for finnan

If it's true 5 million and Gallas for Cole, if I was Arsenal I would told Chelsea where to go and left Cole in the reserves.
Should be at least 15 milion + Gallas.
With Cygan gone,Arsenal are very short at the back.

Another future gem unearthed by Wenger no doubt...
Arsenal also signed Brazilian Under-19 captain Denilson, 18, in a deal with Sao Paolo which could rise to £4m for the midfielder.

that happened 3 days ago didnt it? I think on his day is miles ahead of Duff,Giggs Robben and the likes... he belongs in the premiership tho. Pity really Arsenal, United or someone bar Chelski didnt get him. A great mix of Kanchelskis and Waddle, great winger

Newcastle have gotten off one last transfer today. Well not really a transfer i guess, Rangers released Olivier Bernard yesterday and Newcastle resigned him as a free agent today. Thats some desperation cover for the back!

Not a chance. :) On his day he'd probably be as good as those 3 but how often do those days come along?

Just wondering what you thought of Kavanagh leaving Wigan Eirebhoy? Last year you thought he was their knight in shining armour. Doesn't look like Paul Jewell agreed.

I think it's safe to say that Landzaat is better than Kav. Sunderland fans are over the moon with the signing of Kavanagh, as they should be. :)

"knight in shining armour"? When did I say that? Kavanagh had a very good season at Wigan last year in what is arguably the most important position in the team. If he doesn't play well the team rarely play well. When he was in great form, Wigan were in great form.
