I spent ages compiling a data set and just realised I left out two currencies
When I try to put them in, they are missing 100 observations each.. and I can't understand why. I am a week behind in from where I want to be and can't proceed until I fix the data and my supervisor emails me back, I'm tired and hungry and generally fed up.

I also nearly threw this stupid laptop at the window because it is so bloody slow..

What's the deal with people repeating things in published papers? It just makes it longer for me to read it through.
I shall defenestrate my stack of papers before too long.

I have no idea what's going on in my Differential Geometry course.

Apparently the Maths department has a reading week next week. Several of my lecturers have decided to ignore this point. Oh joy.

Never heard of the maths department doing reading week.

It is glandular fever after all. Doctor says no college until after Christmas.

If I wasn't so absolutely knackered, I think I'd be a lot more upset than I currently am.

glandular fever is not good...was off college for a couple of months in first year with it. on the bright side, if your glands get huge and you go to hospital, they'll shoot you full of these really cool steroids and leave you sitting there... but sitting at home doing nothing for a couple of months because you physically can do nothing else is not fun. i pity you.

I was nearly sure it would be AIDS.

Awh Pet i hope you have lots of downloaded tv. Feel better.

I know I totally shouldn't make this the other half of this post but I've been earnestly trying to cough up a lung for nearly a week now. I'm not getting anywhere but my chest really hurts.

Yowza. Sorry to hear that Pet.

Forgive my ignorance, but does Glandular Fever cause a severe lack of energy to do anything? Like, you've to stay in bed all day or what?

Neither did I. Apparently they're supposed to have been having them for the last 4 years but never actually did (or so goes the rumour). Some lecturers are giving one next week and some aren't.

Sorry to hear that - from what I've heard it can really take it out of you.

Sure that it's not just some TSM people who have reading weeks in their other subjects?

A number of issues are combining to make me feel decidedly schmeh.

Boo-urns to chem lab reports (especially one's that even the demonstrators admit there's no point to!)

On a grander scale: Boo-urns for me thinking I'ld have time to even attempt the whole 'early-schols-study' shindig. Bah!

Some cúnt stole my boyfriend's brand new bike from the rack at the Stephen's Green Luas stop this evening. I'd like to say I blame society for the gradual marginalisation of those living at its fringes but in fact I blame the scumbag who actually had the nerve to leave the packaging from the bolt cutters in the place where the bike had been. Touché.
