UPVC Extra security locks?

    Hi all,

    Hope someone can help. My mother-in-laws have moved into a new house with white UPVC Doors. The front doors has one of those multi point locks that built into the door handle. (you know the ones) although they deadlock the door at night for security is there an additional RIM lock or something I can add for extra security for the day as they dont lock the door in the daytime.

    UPVC/PVCU front doors are generally unsuitable for retro-fit security devices.

    This may be far out but can you create a porch effect inside and use a solid standard door. PM me if u need further elaboration.
