Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scotland are more than impressive this afternoon.

OK, so its just the Faroes but Scotland are not a great team generally.

I think they will get 6 points from their first two games, and if they keep playing like they are they Could take points off Italy and France at Hampden.

I've listening to it and Roddy Forsyth is getting very excited!

they do look very good going forward. Admittedly the faroe's pose no threat whatsoever but still scoring 5 in the first half (so far!) is pretty impressive.

Depressing to think back on the ireland away match against the faroe's, this faroe's team is probably about the same and is being made to look ridiculous by Scotland.

Scotland have been rebuilding there team for a long time now.

They have some good young talent coming through like Boyd, McFadden, Fletcher, Beattie (in the U21's this week I know) etc...

Although the Faroe Islands is hardly the yard stick to measure them by.

They don't have much of a chance to qualify from that group though.

Italy and France will get out.

They've drawn twice in recent years so this is progress.

Scotland fizzled out during the second half, taking it easy for Wednesday I presume.

Still would fancy them to be in the mix at the end of qualification.

Scotland have an impressive young side, and Walter Smith is the right man to get the best out of them.
