Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The 16th of July 2002

have enjoyed the last 2 weeks no end. The 4 games ireland played in were amazing. I will remember those games for the rest of my life. i have no complaints about subs, managers, peno takers etc. ireland were fukkin brilliant and made me proud. thx and well done to all the players and staff. kdja
In the year of our Lord 2002, patriots of Ireland, starving and outnumbered, charged the fields at Suwon. They fought like warrior poets. They fought like Irishmen. And won their respect.
Roll on 2004.. Will be heading over to portugal for those games. I reckon with the younger squad members starting to flourish things can only get better for the Irish team

I have to say reading through these threads actually brought a tear to my eye:o

Perhaps you had better apply before the thread gets moved, and tears will be flowing for a different reason then, eh?

Its not hard to get access OP, I suggest you go ahead and post in Soccer Requests under Sports->Soccer. Just pure laziness that you couldn't be bothered. It normally doesn't take longer than a day or two. Consider yourself warned. Locked.

Exceptfor the 2nd half of extra time against Spain where McCarthy and his "ssistants" could only count to 10 (remember no Albeda, he went off with groun a strain, but we still played 4 at the back  ). Whatever you say about Saipan. THAT was an automatic sacking offence for any manger. Cold you imagine the crack we'd be having about it if it was Erricson who couldn't see there weren't 11 players on the pitch?
