Could I lose my no claims bonus?

I had a 5 year NCB but I have been out of the country for 11 months and have no had a car insured in my name for that time. I have to get repairs done to the car before I can get it back on the road when I get back so I will probably have passed the 12 months mark before I get insured again. Will my NCB still be valid or will I have to pay extortionate insurance premiums once again?

    All help appreciated,
    EssKay.

You should be ok. Insurers are not unreasonable on that sort of thing. Especially as it is "new business".

NCB's are valid for 2 years, so you'll still have a year left on your 5 year NCB so don't worry about it.
