Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey all, To be honest I'm not the best at shopping but I'm wel aware that girls know a thing or two about shoes!
So I was just wondering from anyone, what kind of shoes should a guy get for casual wear which would go with jeans or any casual wear???

Freedom Dubarrys are quite cool..they're dubes, but not the traditional sense, so you don't get the whole d4 implications wearing them..

What a ridiculous thing to say.

Dark brown loafers. Nice casual ones. You won't get refused from any pub and they don't look as crap as black shoes which often look like you put them on to get into a club (depends on the shoes/clothes of course)

Eh, shoes that you think look good and are comfortable?
Dubes are for nubes. High five.

Not sure what exactly your definiton of 'casual shoes' are, but if it's just something that goes with jeans as opposed to a suit, you could do worse than getting a pair of Lambrettas (€88 in RI I think).

    Its called rushu.

They are in River Island afair.. basically a runnery shoe but nothing like the skanger rbk or kickers.

They come in brown or black (ah sure buy them both) and they are superb

ill look for a linky and edit if i find..

No linky, go to the riverisland.com site, search casual shoes, they're on page two, the brown adash one.

I love Vans and Etnies on a guy, I don't know why but I find them so much nicer than loafers or black leather shoes. You can tell a lot about a person by there shoes.

For pickin' up chicks go with Vans or Etnies.

Definitely do NOT but Nushu shoes. They are of atrocious quality, and won't last a fortnight before a hole or somesuch comes in them.

I've always worn Vans, Airwalk, Converse and the like, but you won't get into many pubs/clubs in them. I never wear them if there's a chance of going out as I wouldn't give the bouncer the excuse/pleasure of turning me away. I suppose it depends on what the OP wants them for.

Yes but this is a thread about casual shoes, of courase they're gonna wear something different for a night out.

Casual, as in shoes that will go with anything, Wallabies can't be beaten. Business casual, Patrick Cox, going-out casual, PCs.

Wouldn't you say that a night out is casual? I would. Wearing shoes to get into a club doesn't exactly come under formal dress. There's casual and there's casual.
