Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The League Cup semi-final between Limerick and Derry is on this Wednesday at Hogan park . Seeing as it's a semi-final you would think it would be tickets but seeing as Hogan park holds 9,000(not sure how many of them could actually see the pitch but hold that it does) which won't be the reached capacity will you still be able to pay at the gate , so is it ticket , ticket and gate or gate only ?

need to know as im planning on going and bringing a few friends , no harm in getting others interested in the league aswell as trying to see a few more games myself .

Feel free to post any pre match comments here aswell as there's not much point in another thread .

Do Limerick have a fit keeper this time?

99.9999% you can pay at the gate but if you want to ring the club then heres the number.

Limerick aren't a bad side - I saw them recently in the FAI Cup in Belfield against UCD. Should be a decent enough game.

Derry by all accounts seemed tired last night, perhaps the fighting on 4 fronts is takings its toll. I wouldn't complain if Limerick beat them, could do without playing Derry again this year! :) If they weren't so damn good I wouldn't care!

In all honesty, it should be a good game.

I would expect Derry to win convincingly. Limerick would probably be one of the better teams in the First Division, but the gap is still too big between Derry and any First Division side.

Much appreciated , thank you .

I expect Limerick to put up a very good game but Derry's class should tell in the end .

Derry have played a lot of games lately and Limerick did knock Drogheda out of the FAI Cup.....

True. Derry are still fighting away in the League, League Cup (obviously :)), FAI Cup, and UEFA Cup.
