I left my car in for a regular service 10 days ago. I also asked them to install an uprated differential which I had purchased. Yeah, it was Stan. Nice chap...provided you catch him on a good day. He has a lot on his plate to be honest, so that explains his sometimes brusque manner.
I'm no expert but he definitely appears to know his stuff, and is happy to have a good natter about car-related stuff. I believe hefty mortgage repayments are partly to blame for the wallet-raping labour rates!

I used to deal with Stan years ago, we got to chatting one time about E-Type Jags and racing etc and his manner lightened up considerably from then on !
