Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BT, their telephone + broadband packages are pretty good.

Smart are good value too, I've had no problem with them.

You'll probably get more answers on the
    Broadband forum

There is a government site somewhere where you put in your area and they give you a list of what's available. (There's another one that appears to be independent but actually omits some of the main options, like Smart).

Someone on the broadband forum should be able to point you towards it.

    The Government website is
    http://www.broadband.gov.ie/

Its ok. It has a nice feature 'Phoneline checker' where you can see if DSL is available to you and if not you can use a map function to find your area and see whats available there. Its far from 100% accurate but it should give you some idea.

Moved from Bargain Alerts. OP if you give these guys some information on where you are located, etc, they will be able to help you better. Thanks.

thanks for that. We're living halfway between Killiney and Bray in an area that none of those broadband in a box jobbies seem to transmit to. I've just got the eircom line in but want to get the line rental and broadband transferred to a different provider. We've got mobiles (and their bills) so need need for making calls on our landline.

    Thanks again :)
