Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know how reliable/up-to-date the mobile mast details are on the COMREG site viewer page:-tp://www.askcomreg.ie/mobile/site_viewer.asp

I'm thinking it should be possible to identify if you are in a 3G area based on whether your closest mast is 3G enabled or not.

That Comreg site is useless, it tells you that an operator maybe thought of setting a cell up in a square area of about 10 x 10km and where the range of the cells somewhere in there is only 5km. You could be as much as 7km OUTSIDE the 3G signal area on the diagonal :(

It does not tell you where the cell really _is_ or whether it is live or on a build program before the end of 2007 or something.

You can email Comreg for more specific information if you have your long and lat co-ordinates but be prepared to hound them for the information .
