Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can you give us some more information on your current laptop? If its just for college and some movies or whatever, you might not need to buy a new one. Might just need some extra hardware.

    A D600?! You don't *really* need a new laptop...;)
Seriously thats an alright laptop! unless somethings going wrong with it,then I could be mistaken.
What makes you think you need a new laptop?

If you feel your current machine is reliable there's probably no reason to upgrade. The list of uses you've provided are all handled pretty well by a machine that's probably slower than the one you've currently got.
