Ryan Howard going for the 'real' home run record

Some columnists think that Ryan Howard should be given far more exposure at the moment. They (rightly IMO) totally discredit Sosa, McGwire and Bonds' records and think Howard has a legitimate shot at breaking the 'real' record of 61 set by Roger Maris. 9 more to and about 25 games to do it.

At the rate he's hitting he should get it. Got numbers 50, 51, and 52 in the one game recently iirc. Incredible stuff from a sophomore, he's setting all sorts of franchise records as well. Looking comfortable in the RBI lead as well.
