Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Official announcement expected shortly.

He was very unhappy about the media reaction to the 3-0 defeat to Iceland, and refused to give any interviews after the great win last night.
His mother-in-law died recently also which has affected him.

Sanchez had decided prior to the Spanish game that it was his last game. The IFA are trying desperately to make him stay, and have offered him an improved contract.

    There will be more later....

Which is not a reason to hound him out of a job! Svens still free as is Brian and David.

I don't know about that. If the wimp runs away from Norn Iron on the back of some (deserved) negative reactions then he certainly won't be able to handle us! :D

Still plenty of confusion about this, seems they haven't given up hope of keeping him yet. I would have thought he could handle the press to be honest.

    from bbc
Lawrie Sanchez has ended doubts over his future as Northern Ireland boss by saying that he intends to see out the remainder of his contract.

There was speculation after Wednesday's win over Spain he would quit because of his anger over media coverage.

But on Saturday he said that he had "decided to continue in my role".

"I categorically deny the underlying events of the past few days have been sparked by any desire to return to club football," added Sanchez.

    Mike.
