Just created a new Boards.ie "Champions League" league.
Its the same format as the fantasy.premierleague.com one and its at the address http://en.uclfantasy.uefa.com
The entrance code is 12578-2857 so come one and come all!

I'll probably make a few changes, I just rushed that. I forgot how much bias affects me in these things. I'm finding it hard picking 2 players between, Nakamura, McGeady, Maloney and Hesselink. Maloney is injured atm so I have to take him out.

Untypically good start from me. Clean sheets for Finnan, Deco and Schweinsteiger. Assists for Deco and Eto'o. And goals for Schweinsteiger and Eto'o. Eirebhoy is right though, it seemed to me that Eto'o should have been awarded two assists. Ah well.

Anyway, I'm sure it'll all fall apart soon enough.

Cant believe Gerrard didn't start but i guess they were playing for the draw! 27 point for me, but Shevchenko let me down! It could all change tonight though, as they say the ultimate cliché, Its a game of two halves!:p

He must have passed to Ronaldinho for the 5th goal? Totti got awarded with an assist 2 today but Schweinsteiger got his taken away. With Totti as my captain it's better for me though.

Well that was absolutely woeful yesterday, messi, zambrotta, joe cole all not playing and gerrard only coming on for a while. If that shot had gone in it woulda got me 10 points!, almost doubling my score which says a lot. Maybe i'll have a bit more luck tonight

Another round approaches. Given my woeful position in Premier League fantasy football, I'll have to hype this one more.

Hopefully a good showing from midfielders this week. An injury to Rebrov and the fact that Van Persie probably won't start are forcing me to pack the midfield. Badly need to make a few transfers.

This is gonna get really interesting when teams start getting knocked out and half the players are earning 0 points!

You have unlimited transfers after the group stage so you can get rid of any knocked out players.

Would have been better if you only had a couple free and then pay the pts for the others.

Not a bad night! I made Van Nistelrooy my captain after seeing Kiev's humbling at home last week, I fancied Madrid to win big. Paid off!
42 points tonight, and 6 out of my 11 didn't play Up to 16th.

Can't help gloating, it's not often I get to do so playing this damn game!

I got 50 points from the 6 players last night but that is ruined when Réveillère, Beckham and Maloney only come on as subs and get me 3 points between them. I know Maloney wasn't going to start but Serginho must have been injured as he didn't start. I would replaced him with Cafu if I'd have known. :mad:

Well I'm 12th at the end of matchday 2, not so bad seeing as how I'm not totally happy with my team yet. I replaced Crespo with Morientes. Really wanted to replace him with Saha, as I fancy him to get on the scoresheet against Copenhagen, but alas I was .2 short for him

I'm doing well in this but injuries and players being dropped are ruining it.

In the first week Nesta and Serginho were both injured when Milan kept a clean sheet. Réveillère keeps a clean sheet, Nakamura and Schweinsteiger score, Juninho gets an assist and captain Totti gets a goal and assist.

Week 2 - VDS, Nesta and Neville keep a clean sheet. Nakamura gets an assist, Juninho gets 2 assists, Totti gets a goal, RVN gets 2 goals. Beckham, Réveillère and Maloney only make sub appearances to give a total of 3 points between them.

This week Réveillère and Beckham come off the bench again to get 1 point each while my captain Neville doesn't even play. Out of the other 8 players the minimum a player got was 5 (Maloney who got an assist).

The average from my players that actually start is at least 6 points. I want this boards title!

Edit: 56 points in Matchweek 3. Moved into the top 10
Unfortunately I just bought Schweinsteiger, who's going to miss the next game through suspension. My subs ain't great either.
