    I'm currently in germany, need to transfer money into my friends account as i forgot my atm card but they say i need some code, is there any way around this?

    the code u need is off ur code card

    call +353 1 667 0024, answer the password questions and then dial 88 for a human. they will do it online

    Mighty, I always wanted to know the 'real' 24 hour number. They will sort it without the code card but if your friends account is already set up in the online system you can transfer up to €5k with no code card.

    Oh and a tip for yiz all.

    The main http://www.aib.ie/ site can be pig slow nowadays....for some reason . Its probably all the marketing sh1te hanging off it. There is a low graphics version which is way faster if you need to get into AIB services.

    That number has been available for years - all you had to do was ring them ! After all without it phone banking is useless on your holidays...
