    Hi All

    I have the 2MB BT connection on eircoms exchange

    Anyone know if I have access to a news server and what the address is?

    Doesn't carry any of the binary groups, but for the text based ones, it's ok.

    Realistically, there aren't any good free binary news servers. I used to use a couple in my early days on the net, but either they don't have all the groups you want or the speed is rubbish or they go down more often than Jordans' knickers.

    Bite the bullet and pay $10/month for an Easynews subscription. You won't regret it.
