Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Does anyone know what's being built next to the Ramada hotel at the junction of the Cork Rd and the Ring Road? It looks like something big enough.

    Was thinking the same thing myself lately. It may turn out to be another car showrooms considering that area is full of them.

    It also begs the question about the NTL office out there, they will be vacant from Jan 07 onwards.

    oh jesus no i will prob hear about it on this forum before we will be told get my drift....... im only guessing prob way off .........might work there but they dont tell us nout........ mc cann will prob object anyway...... i hears it is going to be an auto showroom... does anyone know what is going there for real...

    Well thankfully as building has already started, Planning permission would had to have been granted. So I guess what ever it is, it must have met his approval.

    In a few cases planning is granted after the fact. It's easier to get forgiveness than permission after all. Yer man Mansfield was one of the few to run aground after he started his conference centre without permission up near Citywest and had to pull it down.

    Bolands got permission to turn their BMW premises into a number of retail outlets so there may be truth in the rumor that it could be their new showroom.. brings them nearer to everyone else

    I was only talking about that in the last week or so to a guy at work. We were commenting that there was never anything in the media about wether this application was granted or not. If memory serves me right, they also wanted to build a little foot bridge joining up their car showrooms with the World of Wonder premises which they also own. They were going to built some retail units and office space.

    Do you know anymore about them being granted pp for this. Were there many conditions?
