Head down to Garrettstown or Inchydoney for lessons. They've got all the gear there. The two web addresses are:

    Garrettstown: http://www.surfgtown.com
    Inchydoney: http://www.westcorksurfing.com

There are two shops in Town where you can buy the gear and Jon in Garrettstown sells gear too. Go in to them for a chat about the gear.

    Hi,
I've never surfed before but really want to give it a go. Any advice on where to go in Cork for lessons with other like- minded wannabies? I'd really like to get involved with a beginners group cos my friends are totally useless for support!!
