    I see there are many versions of this book available. Can anyone recomend a version? One that would be relativley easy to understand. Perhaps there are some sort of aid notes to help take the correct meaning from a chapter etc?

    Personally, I have the James Clavell edited version which I found pretty straightforward. It's the original translation with annotations included as footnotes and a nice foreword from Clavell.
