Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The missus had a k750 on o2 billpay. It went missing a week or so ago, and shes thinking about claiming on the insurance. Does anyone know if o2 still have them as they are showing as out of stock or will it be replaced with a k800 which would be ideal.

They usually replace like with like. Mine got stolen not so long ago and it was replaced by K750i in CWH shop

Whether it will or it wont be getting replaced by the k800, that wont affect what you get back from the insurance co. they always have stocks of old phones. I once claimed on a phone which hadnt been on sale for around a year and they had it no probs.

If you ring the insurance company they'll proberly be able to arrange a K800i for a cash adjustment. Otherwise you'll proberly just get a k750i back.

I just made an insurance claim last week with O2 billpay.

I Had a 6600, and i havent seen any of them in the shop for about a year. They offered me the 6600 for €35 (excess), or i cud get the 6233 for €90 using a silver upgrade, or a 6680 for €120 using my silver upgrade.

They said the upgrade gave me €80 towards the phone

I took the 6680, and i likes it alot. They offered me the N70 for about €200 using upgrade aswell.

Took about a week from when i sent my old phone away until i had my new one

It doesn't matter what stock 02 has, your insurance is not with them, you need to ring your insurance company and ask them!

Phone missing over a week ...Just make your claim your time period to initiate a succesful claim will elapse..

Fro the 02 website:Claims which are not notified to the Gardai or O2 Customer Care within 24 hours of your becoming aware of the loss or theft (are not covered)

I think Eaglestar do o2's insurance and New Technology Insurance does CPW's.
