A site blocked by NTL?

    Hi,
    With NTL - really great service.

    But recently I cannot access a website from home -

    www.xbmcscripts.com
    (python scripts development for home theater)

    Tried three computers - one a laptop that can access this site in work(Irish Broadband) no problem.

    C:\>ping www.xbmcscripts.com
    Ping request could not find host www.xbmcscripts.com. Please check the name and try again.

    Even pinging their IP address doesnt work (but does on IBB)
    C:\>ping 62.75.214.109
    Pinging 62.75.214.109 with 32 bytes of data:
    Request timed out.

    Like they've been blocked DNS and traffic by NTL?

    Anyone any ideas? Can anyone else see this website??

    Same here can't access it on NTL as it's blocked. Works through a proxy though .

    Go here and load it up and you can access it on NTL :)

    having a look on :
    http://82.195.129.128/dnscheck/

    suggests there is routing problems for lots of irish isp's to the 62.75.128.0 - 62.75.255.255

    (where both that site and its dns servers are, which explains why no resolve or ping)

    so its not NTL blocking you, just some routing screwup somewhere or other

    Thanks guys - emailed NTLworld about the routing - Ill post if they are able to get a fix for it.
