Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know 9/11 wasn't funny, but this was..

I was listening to Neil Prenderville, the talk show host on Cork's 96fm, and he was interviewing a guy who saw the planes actually hit the Twin Towers. The guest had the heaviest Cork accent I've ever heard, and the conversation went like this:

Neil: "It must have been a surreal sight, seeing the first plane hit the Tower.."

Guest: "It t'was indeed - it t'was like something out of a Jaws film, ye kna'"

    Neil: "...or Star Trek even..."

Guest: "no.. it t'was like a big shark flying across the sky, ye kna'"

    Neil: "..oh, right.."

    I love local radio
