Am in need of short-term broadband (6-9mths) and this looks like the only option. Haven't a phoneline and don't want a 12 month contract.

However reading a few horror stories about ripwave performance. Anybody in the Celbridge area using it? How do you find it.

6 month contracts available from a lot of DSL providers.

I don't know the specifics of were you live in cellbridge i.e. distance from the Ripwave transmitter. But check out the Irish broadband site and run a coverage check. If you are not coverage you can't get it :(. If you are on the edge of coverage you may not get a good connection so don't go for it.

If it works it works - just dont expect rocket speeds :)
