Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What is the story with Henry anyway? Is this just the usual Wenger thing of saying he isn't playing and then he plays, or is he actually injured?

Id say he'll play, R V Persie is meant to be suffering too. Would be nice from a United perspective if they were both out. Im goin for a 2-1 United win regardless...

Fair play Kev Doyle, yet again. Must be one of the fastest Premiership goals.

Staying with records, there were 13 minutes of stoppage time in the first half at St. Marys today, can never recall anything more than 8 or 9 myself!

What happened to cause such stoppages during the game?

There was an aerial clash between Jones and Aljofree and the latter was stretchered off in a neck brace. Hopefully he's alright.

What was the deal with the power failure at goodison, did it delay the match, if not, why did rte have to stop showing it?

In fairness, he is right!! Arsenal are not a bottom 4 club. You can argue that all you want but I will just laugh at you.

Am I biased considering I am a Liverpool supporter.

Well they're in the bottom four aren't they? :D Obviously won't be there at the end of the season but deserve to be where they are at the moment.

Brady was making it sound like they'd been cheated or something!

So they just lost the power in their broadcasting equipement? They had power to film the game and run the stadium. (I assume if theres a total power failure in the stadium, it would have to be evacuated for security/health & safethy reasons? no?

Going by your quote I would agree with Liam, and he's one of the most insightful (albeit slightly biased) pundits around. He's certainly no clown. I can think of plenty of others who fit that description though.

Thx for reminding me I'll have to youtube that and add it to the sig those were great times - the week after losing 5-0 at SJP they lost 1-2 at home to Chelsea then the following week 6-3 at Soton - I really though that was the end of them...sigh.

I remember a match during the 1994 WC that had something like 15 mins extra time added during the first half of extra time of a knockout match. To say the referee had a bad match would be an understatement!!!

Even with Arsenal in poor form, can't help but be nervous! Always one of the games of the seasons that gives you butterflies.

Haven't heard any team news yet, but with Giggs and Park out, it's a little more predictable then it might usually be. No definate news (that I've heard) about Henry being out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,072 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Kuyt looking lively, nearly scored (crossbar) and set up bellam with a great chance. So far a good quick game, alonso's passing is still suspect though, giving away a few stupid balls. Warnock definately the weak link, was on a yellow after 4 mins.could see aurelio on for last half hour maybe just incase as drogba is always trying to get one over on warnock who cant afford to dive in anymore
