Herbert Park Running Distance

Hi,
I do some running in Herbert Park, and was thinking of starting to train for a marathon. The problem is that I don't know the distance of a lap of the park, so it's difficult to gauge the distance I'm doing.

Does anyone know how long a full lap around the perimiter of the park (both sides of the road) is? I'm guessing it's somewhere between a 1k and 1mile. I've had a good look online, but haven't been able to find an answer.

Failing that, does anyone know of an easy way to work out how long your running route is?

Dont know what distance herbert park is, but try mapmyrun.com and mark ur route around the park.

Looks like a full lap of the park is 0.96 miles (1.54k).

or if you do a lap of just the main part of the park, right around the edges it's pretty much exactly .8 of a mile by my forerunner gps. That's the loop I usually do so I don't have to bother crossing a road.
