It really depends. Remember that it plays nothing like a Final Fantasy game and has a battle system exactly like contemporary western MMORPGs. You need to invest a lot of time in it.

However the most damning thing is that it's absolute crude compared to the likes of WoW and other better MMORPGs.

I put over 2000 hours into it since it was released in sept 04, just quit a month ago. It is a good game,however demands time and a while to get into it. The people are generally nice but you do need big blocks of time to get things done, althought not really at the start
