Best round?

Whats been the best round that ye've had?

Mine is 83, determined to improve that soon

Mine is a 79 but somebody hit my ball by mistake on the 15th so I had to go back an tee off again and play it like a lost ball :mad:
I played that hole with four strokes but scored a six and if that didn't happen I would have had a 77.

64 (Par 72) in a non-competitive game and 66 (Par 72) in a competition. That was a couple of years ago.....I wish I was still playing that well

74, par 70, off a 15 handicap at the time. In a competition too.

I presume you are assuming someone hit your ball by mistake.... ie no definite proof... because you are not penalised if someone hits your ball by mistake.

It was a fourball with 3/4 handicap. We only won by 1 point! I worked it out, and I had about 48 points in total myself if i recall correctly. I didn't get cut for that competition, as my partner was on the card 9 times as well. I did get cut two weeks later, and lost 2 shots though.

When I got up to where my ball should have been a couple of guys waiting to tee off on the next hole said that they seen someone looking inquisitively as if he wasn't sure if it was his or not before the hit it, there were no tree's or bushes anywhere near there. So its fairly safe to say that he hit my ball.
