Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Tried turning the phone off and on again? Tried the SIM in a different handset? Tried logging a ticket with Vodafone Tech? Is this only from one phone?

    A ticket - ring Vodafone. Tell them about your problem. Tell them you've tried everything and ask them to escalate it to their technical team.

    So the following is correct?..
    A number submits MMS message to MMSC. No errors.
    B number (you) sees the GPRS logo but message does not download.

    MMS sending and (immediate) retrieval goes in the following way:
    1. A -> MMSC: MMS send request over WAP/GPRS
    2. MMSC -> B: MMSC sends SMS message to B. This tells B he has MMS waiting and where to retrieve it from.
    3. B -> MMS: B sends HTTP GET to MMSC to attempt to retrieve the message.
    4. MMSC -> B: MMSC sends download confirmation to B.
    5. B-> MMSC: On successful download B sends confirmation to MMSC
    6. MMSC -> A: MMSC sends delivery report to A

    It appears that your problem is occurring during stage 3. Your phone is attempting to open a GPRS connection and retrieve the message using WAP. Up to this point in the process your phone has not been using GPRS/WAP and since plenty of other people are able to retrieve MMS, we can conclude that the problem is with your phone's MMS/GPRS settings.

    Can you see the message in your inbox?
    What make/model of phone are you using?

    I think you need help alright.. You are a little excitable it seems.

    If you call Vodafone, they will tell you how to fix it in less time that it took you to post this thread.

    the same thing happened me a few times, i rang vodafone and they resend me the correct setting, sense then ive had no problems.
    If you go to www.vodafone.ie and go to the photo album enter ur pass word that came in the text and ull be able to view ur pics.
