    folks,

was wondering if you can get some sorta clear coat skins for my m1710? im sure over time there will be paw marks around the mouse area etc. might be worthwhile to put a skin coating over the whole area?

Wouldn't mind knowing the answer to that myself, regretting taking the protective plastic cover off it now....dont get me started on the brushed aluminum backing, looks like a skating rink on the back..

ya, true. my back is all marks as well, a shame for such a flashy laptop!
i wonder how they got there as i havent done anythin to it, other than open and close the lid.?!

anyway, where can you get clear laptop skins, must be some (yanks!) who do this.......

Im not sure if you know or not but theres a clear plastic coating on the back aluminum cover when you get it,it looks like its scratched but its just this cover,If you can pick at the "Dell" circular logo then you have it on still,if not it must be gone.
