Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recovery hard drive q

Hey, just got a new laptop, HP nc8430. It has a recovery E drive which is 6gb in size. I burnt a recovery disc so is there anyway I can free up this drive for regular use. Thanks in advance for any assistance :)

You can delete the partition the recovery is on. Then repartition the free space it creates.

Some info here. And this might be useful too.

Just be sure you know what you're doing as you can really feck things up if it goes wrong. And make sure that you do have the recovery stuff backed up on CD in case you later need to reinstall XP or something.

actually make sure you have two copies of the recovery disks

did you use a dual layer DVD ??
otherwise the 6GB is holding more than one disk of data ..
