Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hair Make Over

Is there anywhere in Dublin (preferably northside) that I can go to get a total hair makeover?

I have a regular hairdresser that I go to and she is good for the day to day type of things but the last time I asked for a complete change - different style and colour but she ended up just doing the same thing.

I am 26 but look around 21ish. I want a new style and I dont know exactly what I want. I would love to go into a hairdressers and ask them to do something different which suits me and its done.

    Any suggestions?

Go to one of the upmarket places like Peter Marks, most of their hairdressers are very well trained and can give you a lovely new look if you ask, there are a load of salon all over the city, there's a directory at

Thanks for that Piste but I already go to a Peter Mark's and they are good for the day to day upkeep of a hairstyle and coulour but not really for a total re-style.

That depends on what you ask for.
The manager of the peter mark on the upper level of the blanchardsotwn shopping centre Cristine is wonderfull she has a degree and a masters in cuts.
You should ring ahead aask about qualifcations and explain you want a consult for a restyle.
