Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i have a 20 gb ipod currently about half full, but some stuff i just keep cos there is so much space. i bought a new phone and if i can get up to a 2gb card for it, should i just use my phone from now on? would it be worth my while, the card would cost id say 80euro? how much would a two year old 20gb 4th gen ipod be worth?
edit think the max capacity is 512mb

I prefer my nano for music over the phone, never sure why, but I now use a Motorola HT820 bluetooth headset with a cheap a2dp (????) bluetooth adaptor connected to the nano so I can listen to music and still take calls using one bit of kit

i doubt the max capacity is 512MB. a lot of phones just say that in the specs to cover themselves because not all brands will work. what phone is it?

Wouldn't using the phone as a music player just waste its battery and what you end up with is a dead phone and no music?

The thing with small amount of storage is that you need to refresh it with new music the whole time to keep it fresh. And after a while you can't be arsed so you get stuck with the same ol' boring stuff. It's a bit like having a CD changer in the car.

I've rarely used my phone for MP3's but my impression has been that the sound quality has been poor. Stick a couple of MP3's on it now and see how you get on.

    My set up

    K750i - €40
    w800i covers - €20
    Flash credit - €10
    4gb MS duo - €120

Altogether its €170 which is still way cheaper than the 4gig nano plus i have a 2mp camera and a mobile phone
