Few Questions!

I'm going out to look at a 97'D, 318iS BMW E36, M-TEC Wheels, clean, not sure of the milege(presumingly around 100k), asking price is €8,500.

Any opinions on this?

Also, put in all the details into quinn direct, and got quoted €1,475. have read here before that people then ring up and get quoted more. If i ring up, and this happens, can i demand 100% for the quote i got on the internet.

Also, this car is said to be a 1.8 litre, but on the quinn site, it comes up as 1895,
just seems weird!

BMW badges sometimes do not reflect the engine size.

€8,500 for an almost 10 year old 318i with 100k miles is crazy money imo.

Back in 1997 the badge on the 3 Series actually reflected the engine size. It was 1999 and the arrival of the E46 3 Series that saw BMW go a bit mental on badges, i.e. a 316 and 318 both were 1.9 but with different bhp. More than likely it is QD's website that is incorrect. Better off ringing them.
