Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It has just been confirmed that World Wrestling Entertainment has signed Charles Scaggs, who is best known as 2 Cold Scorpio. It looks like Scaggs will be around for the long haul as the contract is a three year deal. There is no word yet on what brand he will be on.

Scaggs, 41, had a tryout match with Rene Dupree a few weeks ago prior to a Smackdown/ECW taping. WWE officials were said to have been impressed with his work in the match. Also, World Champion King Booker was pushing for WWE to sign him. However, there were some concerns regarding his weight (he's gained a few pounds) and potential drug issues due to his reputation. WWE released Skaggs in early 1999 for testing positive for marijuana.

Scorpio had been wrestling in Japan in recent years, more specifically, Pro Wrestling NOAH. Also, he had been living in Germany, but he's just moved back to the States as he now lives in Florida. As of late, Scorpio had been wrestling for a number of indy wrestling promotions including IWA Mid-South and Pro Wrestling Unplugged.

it's one thing signing up ecw originals & legends but someone like scorpio who in his prime would hit a few quick spots & then slow the rest of the match down. i'd rather see them bring back the "new f'n show"

I read an interview with him back at the start of the summer and he was saying he might be headin back to WWE. I've often wondered why they haven't tried signing him back. On his day he's a brilliant wrestler, he can work very well with anyone
