Quick question, if a mechanic does a PRE-nct test and the car fails the test, do you have any comeback, even it is just a small thing??

Question eile, if you bought a car from a dealer with say a 6 month guarantee, and within that time the car failed the NCT, could you go back to the dealer and have the work done under the guarantee?

Depends on the mechanic, a good one will sort it out for you

Read the small print on the guarantee. I think it unlikely

Yes and yes I would think. Exeption may be headlight alignment as the mechanic or garage may not have the equipment to set this up properly.

    Edit:
Unless the small thing was something stupid like a bulb gone or you forgot to root the seatbelts out of the back seat.
