Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Realistic midi instrument Sounds on a Mac?

    Hi Folks,
I'm playing with a friend of mine in a two-piece band - he sings and plays guitar, I play bass and keys.
I'm looking to start to play along to backing tracks, and I'm trying to get as realistic a sound as possible, especially for the drums.

Can anybody recommend and quick and easy way to do this on a Mac? I have a MacBook Pro, so the spec won't be a problem. I've tried GarageBand, but I'm sure there's better and quicker solutions out there.
I'm going to record the tracks to audio, so I just need everything sounding good the once. :)
I'd even just like a simple general all-round VST module.

    Cheers,
    Steve.
