Ryder Cup since 1979

I think the results of pass ryder cups should state Ireland & GB results and seperate for Europe, It is always stated USA 24 Europe 9, which is incorrect as Europe only came on board in 1979, Since then USA have won 6 Europe have won 6 and 1 draw,

Also why do they use the EU flag if they are 'Europe'?

If a guy from Switzerland is good enough will he not be allowed on the team?

True enough but I guess a Swiss or Nowegian will need to make the team before that becomes an issue.

The competition only really kicked off in 1979 when Europe came on board -- prior to that it was a non event -- you got to hand to the Spanish they have done it again this year , and Sevvy was a huge factor in the re-invention of the Ryder Cup -- Garcia han't lost a match this year is currently 4 up with Olazabel -- magic .
