Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Reina
    --Finnan--Hyypia-Agger-Risse
    Gerrard---Alonso--Sissoko--Gonzo
    Bellamy--Kuyt

Looks good, pray that Riise is really fit.

    Mike.

No Crouch for third (fourth?) game in a row... Interesting.

Would like to see Crouch get an understanding with the new strikers. Hope he's not bringing Risse back too soon.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Thats an interesting line-up. If Liverpool had their games 7 days apart Rafa would be classified as a 'tinkerer'. As it stands, with 2 games a week, its a rest & rotation system.

Carra not in, not sure if he has a twinge. Hyppia doing ok so far. But, will some Defoe pace punch a hole, lets wait and see. It is a risk as Agger probably wont be able to cover as well as Carragher can.

Gonzalez on the left has still to find his passing range for Liverpool and this will be a big test for him today. With no Crouch inside he doesnt have a target to aim for for crosses.

So far, Liverpool look the better of the two.

    Redspider

ps: Liverpool have been drawn home v Reading in the League Cup
ps2: Celtic 1-o Rangers (Gravesen, header from 2 yards unchallenged).

If I was the 2 center backs for Spurs I would kick the lord out of the right back keeping Kuyt on, awful awful defending not keeping the line.

As for the Spurs miss!! Good god!

Great second half, Lots of positives, thats 3 home games, 3 wins, now all the reds need is some points on the road.

Alonso, Sissoko and Gerrard were great, and Gonzo give good width.

Is Crouch now what he was bought for? The tricky away game man?

    Sadly, no :/

Hopefully, 'Pool will notch up another home win in Europe midweek, which build us up nicely for a tough away game next Sat against Bolton (that'll be our 4th or 5th early Sat kickoff won't it? - ridiculous tbh :/ )
