    Ah, was just looking for this...didn't think it'd be rec, although I guess it could go under a number of forum categories!
    Congratulations on getting it up and running.

    Is it just classic Transformers, or would it include the likes of Beast Wars and the more recent Armada, Energon etc?

    Starscream was always the coolest transformer ever. Man I hated those goody-goody Autobots when I was a kid...and I hate them even more now.

    Can I suggest you close this thread to prevent it being filled with crap posts (including this one). I find it much more useful to have a FAQ that is pure FAQ and not random posts mingled with usable posts.

    p.s. You so ripped off my charter! ;)

    i think i'll leave it open in the mean time. anything useful i'll link in the first post to make it easier for everyone. i don't want to force people to create new threads for EVERYTHING, so anything useful can just get put here. if it descends into chaos i'll just close it and rule with an iron fist :)

    also, yeah... you were the newest forum created before me. you're an inspiration :p

    To be honest the FAQ style doesn't really suit a forum like this.
    A Computers and Technology charter is probably not the most suitable style to base this one on.

    i thought an FAQ would be useless except that i'm looking into my crystal ball filled with threads along the lines of "where to buy x, y & z" etc.

    and the charter's fine tbh, you just need to cover illegal links and general behaviour. nothing else really comes under transformers!

    aye. it does make more sense in the sci-fi section (to the uninitiated), but the mighty monkeyfudge said he's gonna have a word about getting it moved back to rec :)

    What was this Transformers series i once heard about which only ever contained one episode and was never shown? Does that make sense to anyone?

    Well season 4 of GEEWUN (in joke) had four episodes and was rarely shown (despite being really good).

    No I have that Season on DVD with Season 3, its called the rebirth isnt it? I know there was also a very hated The Transformers: Kiss Players series in 2006 that was considered borderline pornographic, although since it never came out of Japan ive never seen it. What im talking about is a Transformer series called Transformers Zone.

    Only one episode was ever created for Zone. The rest of the story was told in the pages of a children's toy and television publication called TV Magazine. The direction of the series was based around the Destrons trying to obtain Zone Energy, much like the early battles for Energon. Even with it's only marketing done in the pages of a magazine, many toys were made for the series. However, only Cybertrons were made, Takara noticed such a drop in bad guy sales with their last line that they decided to not make any Destron toys this time around.

    Anyone know where I could find this episode or have any more information on it, thats all I have ever heard

    One of my favourite scenes from the movie is when Sam trips up and the AllSpark turns a Mountain Dew Machine into a Transformer, that actually shoots cans instead of bullets, would love to see this made as a figure because i think it would be really cool and novel? What do people think?

    I'd love that as a figure too, just cause its funny. You can get it as "robot hero" with iron hide in a pack.

    Transformers Zone was a one episode after the takara series no.3 'victory'. Its on dvd in a box set of all the Takara volumes, its in the disk set of volume 3. This is the information about it from the booklet in the box set.

    "originally intended to be a full series released direct to video, Transformers: Zone, the Japanese Transformers series of 1990, was cancelled after only one episode. It revolved around the mysterious insectoid being, Violenjiger, resurrecting nine of the most powerful Decepticons - Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus, Predaking, Abominus, Trypticon, Overlord, King Poseiden and BlackZarak - in his quest for the mysterious life-creating source, Zodiac. Meeting this threat is the new Autobot commander, Dai Atlas, a 'Power master', so named for his toys motorized action feature, able to transform into a jet, a drill tank and a Micromaster base, and capable of combining with his fellow Autobots Sonic Bomber and Roadfire into the massive jet/base, Big Powered. An abundance of micromasters, their vehicles and bases, populated the story."
