Decca Hire are not too far away, expect to pay DR € 200 - € 300 (incl del)

navan hire are the nearest to you . you should be able to get a 1.5 ton machine for approx €125 a day.inc. deliveryTEL: 046 - 902 25 35

the other option would be dromad hire in dundalk

also seeing as your looking for weekend use cp hire do a 2 days for 1 deal at the weekend but theyre in dublin. Might work out cheap still even if the delivery is high and they're one of the best.

Some places will do a good deal for Friday evening to Monday morning as there will be less demand at the weekend.

    Thanks to all who replied..

Halco Hire and Ace Hire have come in the cheapest - around the 165/170 mark inclusive of Vat and Delivery out close to Slane..

Saturday morning to Monday morning is only deemed one day as they obviously don't collect on a Sunday so excellent value for money..

last time I hired of navan hire it was about 150 per day inc vat plus del which they charge per/mile and you need to fill the fuel tank afterwards or the cost per litre is double they re are a few around that hire them out privately just make sure you know were the services are before you dig
I am replying to an old comment because this is important
thats why sometimes paying an experienced driver may be worth it

If you can't get a weekend deal, price hiring for the week.
3 days is normally considered a week, so it might be worth having it afew extra days.
