Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help needed with fancy dress costume

    OK, not quite "fashion" but hopefully someone can help...

    I'm trying to put a costume together for a fancy dress this weekend. Thing is I'm really busy all week and don't have a lot of time for searching for stuff around town.

    I was hoping you lot might know of some good second hand shops in Dublin?

    Of indeed if anyone knows where I might pick up any of the following items, giz' a shout!

    Top hat (black - any condition, once it's the right shape)
    Frizzy black wig (think Slash from Guns'n'Roses...)
    Long black coat (preferably leather - Matrix style...)
    Wine coloured waistcoast
    Cravatte
    White gloves

    Any help much appreciated!

    try wild child,it's moved from georges street to temple bar, havent been in since it moved tho but it should have at least some of the stuff youre looking for.wigs like that try the joke shop beside stephens gree.saw 2 guys dressed as axel and slash last year was really cool.love halloween.gud luck!!

    Sorry to steal your thread OP, but I also have a fancy dress this weekend. Does anyone know are there any good costume shops in Dublin, perferably around the city center.

    For second hand shops there are a few around wexford \ camden street. For the wig you could try the joke shop beside Stephens green.

    yeah wild child is great. also have a look in the charity shops up geaorges street I got some great cheap stuff in there before!
    Im also looking for a costume I need a pair of lara croft style short shorts- anyone seen any anywhere??
